Music and Tacos are the perfect combination, and this was perfectly proven this past March 29, 2016 during the 1st Edition of Music and Tacos Showcase that took place at the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills.

The Living Sessions received the invitation and really enjoyed the music and tacos.  We experienced live performances by Fargo, North Dakota native Michael Leier and his band; by singer-songwriter Irene Diaz who was accompanied by Carolyn Cardoza in the ukulele, Irene will soon be releasing their new single “This Cannot Be”; by Brianna Falcone who will soon premier her new music video “Lady By The Lake” and simultaneously be releasing her new EP; by electro-pop duo Frenship who were joined by talented “frens”, and by young and talented singer-songwriter Ryan Beatty.

It was a delicious first edition of Music and Tacos Showcase during which we had the opportunity to chat with the hosts/creators of the yummy night, Gonzo and Ashton.  They shared with us that the whole concept started as a joke as everyone in LA loves music and tacos even more.  They are both music lovers and they are looking to create their own space for opportunities “Music and Tacos is a place for young bands to grow and people from the industry to connect” Gonzo said.

We left with a happy heart and satisfied tummy as the tacos were just delish and the music was just on point. We left with an open invitation to the next edition of this promising and delicious platform; their next showcase is scheduled to take place on April 26, 2016, don’t forget to RSVP and support up and coming talent.  See you at the taco line.
